Welcome to Clean Writers, Inc.

by Author Dana Marie Booker

Thank you for taking time to check me out on Clean Writers, Inc.  I created this site so that you would have the opportunity to get your hands on a relatively new genre called, "Christian Fiction."  I know it sounds like an oxymorn because Christianity is real and fiction is made up, but the truth is, this genre reveals truths about Christian living through story telling.

This new concept gives readers the opportunity to read juicy novels that educate, entertain, and enlighten without leaving one feeling guilty on Sunday morning.  I started writing in this genre before I knew it had a name.   As an avid reader and Christian, I became frustrated with having to skip over profanity and vulgar language, so, rather than complain, I decided to write what I wanted to read.  I was positive that there were folks who just wanted to curl up with a good book without compromising their beliefs or integrity, and I was right.  This is how my first novel, Family Secrets was born.  The rich content and lively characters along with encouragement from readers gave us the second installment called, More Secrets.

I sincerely hope you enjoy my work.  Writing is truly a labor of love.  Love for God, for people, for writing, and rewriting, and rewriting, and... well you get the picture.  I appreciate the support I have received thus far, but please know that its not really about me, its about Kingdom building.  The more you support this new genre, you essencially demand that vulgarity take a backseat to Biblical prinicples, you are saying that you want to see Christian Fiction hit as mainstream.  After you read the novels, please leave your opinions on the Review page, perhaps your desire for decent writing will create a demand.   It's your voice, use it!

Christian Fiction page-turners that won't leave you feeling guilty on Sunday morning

This Sista-girl friendly novel briefly takes readers back to the small town of oakridge in the 1970s where a young African American attorney, Thomas Miner is murdered to conceal a will that names an illegitimate black child as heir to a family's massive fortune.

The fast pace moves the story along.  Carefully introduced subplots add differnt textures as do lively supporting characters to this realistic mysterious plot about guilt, greed, lies, and what happens when secrets are divulged.  If you think Family Secrets is awesome, you'll love its sequel, More Secrets.

Curl up to a good book without having to skip over four-letter words

An African American family rises to affluence from new found wealth when a shocking secret jeopardizes their reputation and finances.  As the Johnsons struggle to maintain their dignity and keep their fortune, they rely on their faith to fight enemies who will stop at nothing to see them lose it all.

In the sequel, this page-turner illumitates vaious controversial topics that demonstrates how Christians handle unforeseen circumstances throuh Biblical principles.
