What an honor! The Front Page radio broadcast started at 4:40 a.m., so you know what time I had to be up. I really enjoyed being on the air, answering questions for callers.  Dominique usually deals with controversial topics and it was no different for me; somehow we ended up on the subject of the "Illuminati."

That interview was taken by my editor, Gary Kohotsu of the Gardena Valley News. He gave me my first writing break by hiring me as a photojournalist. The first story I reported was on a crime scene. It was interesting to be a step away from the yellow tape, but it was sad to see the family members distraught, so I was eventually moved to human interest stories.

 

There I covered a parade, a story about the Big Sisters of America, an election, and similar good natured stories.  While reporting on these events, my mind would run wild with stories I could create based on the facts that I had, and on top of that, I did not like reading books laced with profanity, so what was a girl to do but... write her own.

Recognition at my 30-year Class Reunion

It was such a blast to see my "Old School Bus Riders," better known as the as the OSBRs.  We were the first group of kids to be bused to school from Los Angeles to the San Fernando Valley.  The idea was for intergration purposes.  Looking back, I think it was a good idea.  I was able to meet new people from different backgrounds.  A whole new world had opened up that I otherwise might not have had the opportunity to see.  Funny thing though, the valley kids were never bused to our neighboorhoods...hmmm

I love books and I support a lot of Christian authors, but I have never read anything like your work. You are trully a gifted Sisah and I am so glad to have met you.
